The main trail is a well-maintained old wagon trail, so you can drive your vehicle up the first 0.4 mile of the path if you want a shorter hike. There's ample space to turn around.

The primary trail is steep towards the end, and the side trails to the creek and falls is narrow and slick in some areas. Overall, it is a fairly easy hike.

While this is a short hike, there's a lot to see with the Ney Springs ruins and the waterfalls. We also hiked just above the falls and explored the creek beds.
